  • Robbery
    ? Dean Lonas Hand, 40, of the 200 block of South First Street, Phoenix. Medford police on Sunday arrested Hand on charges of third-degree robbery, third-degree theft and disorderly conduct. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail in lieu of $16,000 bail.
    Drugs— Thomas Ray Grissom, 48, of the 200 block of N. Sixth Street, Central Point. Central Point police on Monday arrested Grissom on charges of possession and delivery of amphetamines. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.
    Criminal mistreatment —James Paul Finigan II, 52, of the 2600 block of Longbranch Road, Shady Cove. Eagle Point police on Monday arrested Finigan on two counts of each of first-degree criminal mistreatment, fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail in lieu of $24,000 bail.
    Theft—Katherine Marie Rose, 40, of the 1200 block of West McAndrews Road, Medford. Rose made her initial appearance Monday in a Jackson County court, where she was arraigned on a warrant charging her with conspiracy to commit first-degree theft. She was processed at the Jackson County Jail then released on her own recognizance.
    — Kidnapping
    ? John Robert Locatelli, 36, of the 400 block of Benson Street, Medford. Medford police on Monday arrested Locatelli on three counts each of first-degree theft, second-degree child neglect and harassment. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail in lieu of $3 million bail.
    Theft —5000 block of Jacksonville Highway, Jacksonville. Miscellaneous items valued at $1,400 were reported stolen Monday from a car parked at a residence, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Department. The break-in and theft were reported to sheriff's deputies at 4:07 p.m.
    Burglary
    ? 3400 block of Randall Avenue, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies at 9:20 a.m. Monday received a report of a break-in to a shop and theft from a vehicle parked in it.
    Burglary
    ? 2300 block of Beall Lane, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies took a report at 9:38 a.m. Monday of a burglary to a shop, during which miscellaneous tools were taken.
    — Vandalism —2100 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Medford police took a report shortly before 8 a.m. Monday of a break-in and vandalism to a vehicle, with the loss valued at $900.

    Jail releases— A total of 94 inmates were released last week from the Jackson County Jail to meet its court-ordered cap of no more than 190 inmates at any given time. Of those, 13 were released prior to their scheduled court appearances, 12 were granted early release from a sentence and 69 were released for miscellaneous reasons.
