Creative inspiration takes its form in a variety of media. New exhibits by some of the region's most talented artists, as well as from artists around the world, are showcased during the First Friday art walks in Ashland. Sculpture, painting, photography and other visual delights await visitors at participating galleries and venues in the downtown area and Railroad District. There are opportunities to meet the artists and see demonstrations of their work. Many of the places offer appetizers, beverages and live music.
The monthly art walk is sponsored by the Ashland Gallery Association and takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3. Maps are available at any of the locations and at the information kiosk on the Ashland Plaza.
