Pumpkin patches opening up

Between pumpkin patches, harvest events, parades and Halloween-related festivities, October is nearly as busy as the Christmas season.

Fall events are so plentiful in the Rogue Valley that families could visit a handful each weekend and never go to the same place twice.

Events range from old-fashioned pumpkin patches with hayrides, corn mazes and petting zoos to costume parades, haunted houses and parking-lot trick-or-treat events.
