Online school courts students

Oregon Connections Academy, an online public charter school based in Scio, will present information sessions across Southern Oregon this week.

The Medford session will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Red Lion, 200 N. Riverside Ave. A session is set for 6:30 p.m. today at the Shilo Inn, 2500 Almond St., Klamath Falls, and one in Josephine County will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lodge at Riverside, 955 SE Seventh St., Grants Pass. All presentations are free.

The school started in 2005 and now serves more than 2,600 students in kindergarten through 12th grade. There is no tuition to attend, and the school accepts students from all over the state.
