The Grammy Award-winning trio will perform its signature style of "Texican" rock 'n' roll on Friday, June 12, at the Britt Pavilion in Jacksonville. Los Lonely Boys are three brothers — guitarist Henry Garza, bassist Jojo Garza and drummer Ringo Garza — who hail from San Angelo, Texas. The boys follow a tradition set by their father, Ringo Garza, who formed a band with his brothers called The Falcones and played conjunto, or Tex-Mex music, and played during the '70s and '80s around Southern Texas.
Los Lonely Boys have three studio albums and a live album to their credit, all on Epic Records label.
Frobeck, a pop, rock and soul band from the San Francisco Bay Area, will open the show at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $49 for reserved seating, $32 for lawn seating and $19 for children 12 and younger. See brittfest.org, call 773-6077 or stop by the Britt box office, 216 W. Main St., Medford, for tickets. Box office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
