An Ashland horse rehabilitation center plans its annual fundraiser this month.
The Equamore Music & Art Festival is set from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Eden Farm, 4723 Highway 66, Ashland. Admission is $5, or $10 with access to beer and wine offerings.
Rogue Valley musicians Karen Lovely, Frankie Hernandez, Blue Lightning, Montana Soul, Bob Evoniuk and Teri Cote are scheduled to perform during the event, and Olympic figure skater Tai Babilonia has signed on to appear as well.
Island Deli Cafe and EdenVale Winery will provide food.
Face painting will be available, and kids will be able to meet Equamore horses. Live and silent auctions are planned.
The organization houses abused, neglected and aged horses and relies entirely on donations and volunteers for operation, it says.
