Mount Ashland group meets tonight

Skiers, snowboarders and other fans of the white get their annual opportunity to attend a board meeting of the private, nonprofit Mount Ashland Association tonight.

It's from 6 to 8 p.m. at D & S Harley-Davidson, 3846 S. Pacific Highway, Phoenix.

Nonprofit, nongovernmental organizations are not required to open their meetings to the public, but the association holds one public board meeting per year.

The agenda includes an operations report, a financial overview of the previous season, and discussion of youth and environmental programs.
