Rattlesnake Rapids on the upper Rogue River can be managed with some technical know-how.

Rattlesnake Rapids is the toughest white water to negotiate on the upper Rogue River, and it often scares rafters and driftboaters away from boating the section between Dodge Bridge and TouVelle State Park.
