Memorial celebration Dec. 8
Lovejoy Hospice, 939 S.E. Eighth St., Grants Pass, will hold its annual Light Up A Life Community Memorial Celebration at 6 p.m. Dec. 8. The celebration includes the reading of names of loved ones, music, candle-lighting and refreshments.
People may also choose to visit one of the Memory Trees on display beginning Dec. 4 at the Rogue River Public Library, 412 E. Main St., and Dec. 3 at Home Valley Bank, 135 S. Redwood Highway, Cave Junction.
A Pet Memory Tree will be available Dec. 10-31 at the Grants Pass Grange, at Highway 199 and Dowell Street. Pet owners may place an ornament on the tree and share a picture of their pet.
Donations are accepted and make it possible for Lovejoy Hospice to offer children and family bereavement support, community education and hospice for those who have no insurance.
