Scott Leonard Atkinson

Scott Leonard Atkinson (NAG Drywall), passed away of cancer on March 12, 2010, at his home in Medford.

Scott was born Feb. 3, 1934, in Medford, Ore. He met and married his wife of 55 years, Gloria, in Sandy Utah. They moved back to Medford in 1956, where they settled and raised their two sons, Dusty and Leonard.

He loved hunting and fishing of all kinds. He was a life member of the Oregon Hunters Assoc., Home Builders Assoc., 50 Caliber Club, NRA, and the Eagles.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria; son, Leonard (Jill); grandchildr en, Danielle, Nick, Amanda, and Paden Atkinson; great-grand son, Sebastian; four brothers and their families, Dusty, Don and Bob Atkinson, all of Medford, Loren Atkinson and family, of Spokane, Wash.; and one sister, Sue (Don) and family, of Grants Pass, Ore. He was preceded in death by his son, Dusty.

A memorial to celebrate Scott's life will be held on Sat., March 27, at 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 2000 Table Rock Rd., Medford, OR. Anyone wishing to show their respect and share some memories are welcome.

Scott never met a stranger. Contributio ns may be made to Providence Cancer Center.
