  • A Grants Pass man seen wandering the streets covered with blood Wednesday evening is in jail on a murder charge after police found the body of a teenage girl at his Oriole Street home.
    Nathan Lee Geith, 25, of the 1300 block of Oriole Street, faces a murder charge in the death of Savanna Ivysivi Albertson, a 17-year-old found dead at his home.
    Callers reported a bloody man, later identified at Geith, wandering in the 1400 block of Southeast Portola Drive at about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, a news release from the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety said. Officers detained him and went to his home, where the girl's body was found.
    The investigation into this incident is continuing. Members with the Oregon State Police and the Josephine County Sheriff's Office are assisting with the investigation.
