Christmas tree pickup

Ashland Boy Scout Troop 112's 25th Annual Christmas Tree-cycling day is Saturday, Jan. 8.

Have your trees at the curb in front of your house for pickup by Friday evening, Jan. 7. Troop 112 and the sponsoring organization, the Ashland Lions Club, will collect trees to be chipped by the Ashland Parks Department and used as mulch in Ashland city parks. Donations for this service will be accepted and checks should be made out to Troop 112.

For more information, call Scoutmaster Jeff Jones at 541-488-0178.

Gold Hill Moose Lodge No. 178 will pick up Christmas trees for a donation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Jan 8 and 9. Donations will be split between Dogs for the Deaf and Patrick Elementary School.

To schedule a pickup, call the Gold Hill Moose Lodge at 541-855-1235 and leave a name and address.

Saturday, Jan. 8: Leave trees at the curb no later than 10 a.m. for pickup. Donations will be accepted. Checks should be made out to Troop 535.
