  • Skip Rung and Larry Trujillo will be among the speakers at the next Jefferson Grapevine event, Wednesday, Jan. 19, at the Higher Education Center, 101 S. Bartlett St. in downtown Medford.

  • Skip Rung and Larry Trujillo will be among the speakers at the next Jefferson Grapevine event, Wednesday, Jan. 19, at the Higher Education Center, 101 S. Bartlett St. in downtown Medford.
    Rung is research and development executive at the Oregon Nanoscience & Microtechnologies Institute he founded in 2003. Prior to that, he was the director of research and development for Hewlett-Packard in Corvallis.
    Larry Trujillo, a lending director with the Small Business Administration, will talk about the agency's capacity to support the capital needs of emerging and small businesses.
    There will also be an update on the March 9 Southern Oregon Angel Conference. There is still time to submit a plan for the $125,000 investment award at http://www.southernoregonangelinvestors.com/
    The Grapevine runs 5-7:30 p.m. The cost is $20 per person, including hors d'oeuvres and a drink.
