  • The Medford City Council at 7 p.m. will consider a variety of recommendations to improve parking in the downtown while raising more money to cover costs.
After a lengthy study, some of the recommendations include raising the parking fine from $10 to $15, but allowing 30 days rather than 10 days to pay it.
To encourage more use of garages, the fees would be dropped from $35 to $25 a month in the Middleford and Evergreen garages.
The council meets at Medford City Hall, 411 W. Eighth St.
