  • Burglars struck a mini-storage business in Medford sometime Tuesday, making off with several guns and electronic equipment.
Medford police reported that seven storage units were broken into at the Table Rock Mini Storage on Table Rock Road.
The burglaries occurred sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. The business owners did not notice the break-ins until about 11 a.m.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects had broken through the perimeter fence and had then cut off the locks to the seven storage units. The suspects attempted to cut off the locks of other units, but were unsuccessful.
Among the items stolen were a 50-inch Vizio flat-screen television and a Hobart welder.
Of most concern for police, however, were the firearms taken from the storage sheds. These included a Mauser rifle, a Remington Arms rifle, a Marlin rifle, a Remington shotgun, a Savage Arms rifle and a Bison revolver.
Anyone with information on the crimes is asked to call Detective Bill Ford at 541-774-2236, or contact Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon at 1-800-850-0580.
Crime Stoppers will pay a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case or any unsolved criminal activity. Callers can remain anonymous. The reward is sponsored by Stanley Security Solutions.
