Police have confirmed that Medford resident Jordan Adam Criado, 51, is the man suspected of stabbing his wife and four children before setting his west Medford house on fire this morning, killing all but himself.
Pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Providence Medford Medical Center was his wife, Tabasha Paige-Criado, 30, according to the Medford Police Department.
Also pronounced dead after they arrived at Rogue Valley Medical Center this morning were the couple's children, three unnamed males age 7, 6 and 5, and a 2-year-old girl, police said.
All victims died from stab wounds and smoke inhalation, police believe.
Investigators were still in the process of identifying the children, and the investigation was continuing this evening.
Jordan Criado remained in police custody at RVMC, where he was being treated for smoke inhalation, police said. Investigators categorized his condition as stable.
