  • President Barack Obama and former president George W. Bush will attend the ceremony at ground zero, which begins at 5:30 a.m. PDT. Moments of silence will be held beginning at 5:46 a.m. PDT, the moment that the first hijacked plane hit the World Trade Center's North Tower. Ceremonies at the Pentagon and at Shanksville, Pa., will also begin at 6 a.m. and at 6:30 a.m. PDT, following the timeline of the attacks.
