  • Rogue Valley caffeine fiends have chosen Human Bean as their favorite place to grab a cup of joe on the go for the seventh time in eight years.
Starting out with its first coffee drive-thru location in Ashland in 1998, the Human Bean has expanded to 47 locations in seven states.
Although the business has grown, the company stays involved in the local community by donating proceeds from beverages and pastries to local organizations during fundraising events.
"We are pretty involved in the community. We try to do a lot of different things to help out locally," says Human Bean Marketing Director Jackie McGrath.
Headquartered in Medford, Human Bean uses the Farm Friendly Direct program, allowing it to buy coffee directly from the farmers that grow it in nine different countries.
Other favorites: Dutch Bros. and Starbucks.
