'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II'

The magic of the final "Harry Potter" movie, in the eight-part cinematic series, seems to have cast a spell on Mail Tribune readers.

The movie charmed critics, too, with 96 percent of its 264 professional critical reviews coming in as positive, according to the film website www.rottentomatoes.com.

"This is the way the Harry Potter saga was meant to end," says Laremy Legel, critic for www.film.com.

Worldwide, the film netted $1.32 billion in ticket sales, with $378 million in the U.S., according to the website www.boxofficemojo.com.

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part II" also holds the record for most profitable opening weekend ever, domestic and worldwide, earning $169 million and $483 million, respectively.
