  • Ashland photographer Bryan Mikota credits his connection with clients and his life experience with giving him the ability to capture family memories.
Having lived around the world and up and down the West Coast, Mikota is a jack of all trades. He's worked at jobs ranging from massage therapist to employment recruiter, and he ventured into full-time photography about five years ago.
He photographs weddings and graduations, and captures life moments with family portraits and maternity photos.
His repeat win in this category, he says, is affirmation that he's taking care of his clients' needs.
"I really think it's the connection I make with all my clients and going far beyond just regular follow-up and account maintenance," he says. "I just really try to assure that each and every client is taken care of and that I'm exceeding their expectations."
