"Men of Iron and Steel: Chinese Railroad Workers in the Siskiyou Mountains" is a presentation by Victoria Law at 6:30 p.m. at the Ashland Historic Railroad Museum, 258 A St., Suite 7, above the Playwright Public House.
The talk is a tribute to the Chinese workers who built the railroad through the Siskiyou Mountains in the dead of winter. Chinese dumplings and Mandarin oranges will be served. An exhibit of Chinese artifacts will be displayed.
