South Medford basketball player Tess Picknell is the guest on the Mail Tribune’s 82nd live, unscripted and interactive sports chat.

Picknell, 6-foot-5 senior center, suffered an ankle injury against Crater that will keep her sidelined for two to six weeks. Picknell, who has signed with Stanford, was averaging 12 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and two assists.

She talked about her injury and the recovery process, as well as the team work that has pushed the Panthers to win.

The top-ranked Panthers are 13-0 overall and 3-0 in the Southern Oregon Hybrid. South, which is ranked 11th nationally, hosts Ashland at 7 p.m. today.
