The Phoenix senior set a pair of meet records and a Pirate school mark in an all-Skyline Conference meet at the Southern Oregon University pool.

Underwood's two individual triumphs and a leg on the Pirates' winning 400-yard freestyle relay helped Phoenix to victory in the six-team meet.

He had meet and personal records in the 100-yard butterfly (55.84) and 100 backstroke (57.19). The latter is a school record, breaking Michael Oxendine's mark of 58.50 set in 1998.
