  • Dylan Wu had a hand in both North Medford goals as the Black Tornado ice hockey squad topped Klamath Falls 2-0 at The RRRink on Friday.
    Wu scored in the opening period on an assist from Wyatt Spence for the Black Tornado (3-9), which will head into next week's playoffs as the fourth seed out of five teams. The Ice Hawks finished in fifth place.
    Black Tornado freshman Mario Filippi scored his first career goal on a set up from Wu in the third period to seal the victory.
    Freshman goalie Calvinn Casaday recorded his first shutout of the season and had 24 saves.
