Sunday is last day to get Girl Scout cookies
Cookie season is winding down.
Sunday, March 11, is the final day to purchase Girl Scout cookies this year, and Girl Scouts are still 100,000 boxes short of their 100th anniversary goal to sell more than 2 million boxes in Oregon and southwest Washington.
Cookie proceeds directly benefit local troops and Girl Scout programs statewide, paying for camp fees and maintenance, membership fee assistance, recruiting and training volunteers, and special projects and events.
Those interested in buying cookies can make use of the online cookie locator at www.girlscoutsosw.org, or download a phone app at www.girlscoutsosw.org/events/cookies.
