Phoenix's Alex Young captured the Skyline Conference boys basketball player of the year award for the second consecutive season.
The Pirates' dynamic point guard shared the honor last year with Mazama's Daniel Mathis.
Young and teammate Tyler Dungannon were selected to the first team along with juniors Kevin Brazille and Jake Herklotz from conference champion North Valley.
Young, a 6-foot-1 senior headed to the University of California Irvine on a scholarship, led the state-runner-up Pirates in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals. He averaged 23 points, 8.7 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 2.6 steals a game.
Dungannon averaged 18.7 points a game,
North Valley's Jeff Nelson was selected coach of the year.
