North Medford High wrestling coach Phillip Lopez isn't the type to get carried away.
Cascade Christian rallied for a 6-5 victory against Mazama in a rain-shortened nonconference baseball game Friday at U.S. Cellular Park.
The game was called in the bottom of the sixth with the Challengers (2-0) batting and ahead 10-8 but the score reverted to the last complete inning.
Cascade Christian pushed across the tying and winning runs in the fifth. Josh Brite opened with a single and scored on Tim Martin's double. A balk moved Martin to third, then he scored on a ground-out RBI by Andrew Sha.
The Challengers had to overcome eight walks by pitchers Luke Dusenbury and Kyle Ferguson.
Isaiah Luzny, a sophomore transfer from North Medford, went 3-for-3 with three RBIs to lead the Challengers. Martin added two hits and one RBI.
For Mazama, Brian Howard had three hits and one RBI.

MAZAMA 18-24, CASCADE CHRISTIAN 3-6 — Mazama capitalized on 12 walks, five hit batters and nine errors in sweeping a pair of five inning games at U.S. Cellular Park.
Meghan Higday had two hits in the opener for the Challengers (0-4), while Jordan Martinez and Haley Casebier rapped a pair of hits in the nightcap.
