Cascade Christian senior Eric Morse has been selected to the Class 3A boys first-team all-state basketball team.
Morse, who was a third-team selection as a junior, led the Challengers to the state tournament and a 21-8 record this season.
He averaged 18 points and 11 rebounds per contest, shooting 56 percent from the field and 82 percent on free throws. He was a unanimous choice as the Southern Cascade Hybrid player of the year.
Cascade Christian teammate Alex Miller, a junior, received honorable mention, as did Illinois Valley senior Freddy Hults.
Dayton's A.J. Hedgecock — the son of former Medford High star athlete Julie Vobora — was player of the year, and Ron Hopp of Dayton was coach of the year.
