Phoenix tennis player Wil Cochrane is the guest on the 95th edition of the Mail Tribune's live, unscripted and interactive sports chat.
Cochrane created Uncle Bill's Cancer Awareness Tournament, which will take place Saturday at Rogue Valley Swim & Tennis Club, to honor a family friend who died of esophageal cancer. The proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
He shared favorite stories about the man his tournament honors and talked about his own play. In a May 8 match, Cochrane did not drop a set en route to defending his District 4 title and he likes his chances for a run at a state title.
