George Neville married Maria Chard June 6, 1962, in Reno, Nev. They have 10 children: Joanna of Rigby, Idaho; Lyle of Tualatin; Todd of Redmond; Nick, Dann, Shane and Joshua, all of Medford; Michael of Washington, D.C.; Holly of Columbus, Ohio; and Geordan of Rexburg, Idaho; and 30 grandchildren.
George was raised in Prospect, and Maria was raised in Morgan, Utah. They met while attending college at Utah State University.
After they moved to the Rogue Valley in 1968, they raised their 10 children, who all graduated from the Medford School District. After 31 years with the Bureau of Land Management, George retired in 1993. Maria spent her time raising their children, and both enjoy their many grandchildren who live close by in the Medford area.
