  • McMINNVILLE — A total of 587 candidates for degrees were presented at the Linfield College commencement exercises Sunday, May 27.
    Graduates are listed below according to hometown. Students who graduated with honors are listed with honors designation. Those graduating cum laude carried a grade point average of 3.80 to 3.91; magna cum laude graduates carried a 3.92 to 3.98; and summa cum laude carried a 3.99 to 4.00.
    APPLEGATE — Lindsay Marie Gehres, bachelor of arts, communication arts.
    CENTRAL POINT — Zach Boskovich, bachelor of science, finance; Joann Lanae Reed, bachelor of science in nursing.
    EAGLE POINT — Deborah L. Chappell, bachelor of science in nursing.
    MEDFORD — Allison Elliott, bachelor of arts, psychology; Donna M. Salamone, bachelor of science in nursing, summa cum laude.
    ROGUE RIVER — Colleen Ferguson, bachelor of science, social and behavioral sciences.
    Washington State University named Michelle Andrea Sanderson of Medford to the President's Honor Roll for spring 2012. To be eligible for the honor roll, undergraduate students must have been enrolled in a minimum of nine graded hours in a single term, and earn a grade point average of 3.75 or earn a 3.50 cumulative GPA based on 15 cumulative hours.
