Linder gets easy victory at Southern Oregon Speedway

WHITE CITY — Central Point's Garen Linder needed just eight laps to take the lead for good Saturday as the Interstate Sprint Car Series made a tour stop at Southern Oregon Speedway.

The 18-year-old Linder led by over half a lap until a yellow flag forced a restart 27 laps into the 30-lap main event. After the restart Linder once again opened a big lead and won easily. Seth Nunes of Medford took second place, Rob Held finished third and Brent Hoover fourth.
