    Keith Hassler married Doris Hildebrand July 25, 1952, at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Dallas, Ore. They have three children: Norm Hassler and wife, Debi, of Butte Falls; Karen Lounsbury and husband, Mark, of Medford; and Karla Floyd and husband, Bill, of Medford; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
    Keith was born in Washington, Kan., but was raised mostly in Monmouth, Doris was born and raised in Dallas.
    Keith served as a telegrapher with the Southern Pacific Railroad and as a high-speed radio operator in the U.S. Army before moving to Portland to begin his career with the First National Bank, later First Interstate Bank, in 1955. Doris worked as an elevator operator, florist and home health care provider before staying home to raise their three kids.
    In 1973, the family moved to Medford, where Keith continued to work as a trust officer at the bank. He retired from First Interstate Bank in 1988.
    Keith and Doris sold their home and traveled full time for five years after retirement. They have covered most of the 50 states, as well as traveled in Europe, Asia, Israel, Canada and Mexico. They now reside in Medford and enjoy spending time with their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
