  • Jayme Marie Thornton and Gannon Blake Stahl were married June 16, 2012, at Holy Family Parish in Kirkland, Wash. Father Kurt Nagel officiated the Catholic ceremony.
    The bride is the daughter of James and Renee Thornton of Sammamish, Wash. A 2000 graduate of Skyline High School in Sammamish, she earned her bachelor's degree in 2004 from Washington State University and a Master of Education in 2008 from Chaminade University of Honolulu. She works as the director of Lakeview Montessori School in Kirkland.
    The groom is the son of Cathie Stahl of Medford and Lance Stahl, deceased. He graduated in 1999 from Eastlake High School in Sammamish, earned his bachelor's degree in 2003 from the University of Arizona and his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2007 from the University of Washington Dental School. He owns his own dental practice, Pineview Dentistry, in Bellevue, Wash.
    Bridesmaids were the bride's cousins, Gianna and Marissa Bikhazi, both of Kirkland, Wash. Groomsmen were the groom's brothers, Lance Stahl of West Des Moines, Iowa, and Jason Stahl, of Anchorage, Alaska.
    Ring bearer was the groom's nephew, Cooper Stahl.
    A post-ceremony reception hosted by the bride's parents was held at the home of the bride's aunt and uncle, Dr. and Mrs. Paul Bikhazi, in Kirkland.
    A second wedding ceremony was held June 27 at the Church of Santa Sofia in Capri, Italy. A reception followed at the Hotel Caesar Augustus in Capri.
    Following a honeymoon in Italy, the newlyweds are living in Kirkland.
