Rebecca Alexandra Geear and Steven Lee Chong

Rebecca Alexandra Geear and Steven Lee Chong were married June 23, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Medford. Father Felix Vistal officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Skip and Charlotte Geear of Eagle Point. She is a 1996 graduate of Eagle Point High School and a 2000 graduate of Southern Oregon University with a bachelor's degree in communication with an emphasis in video production and film. She works as a video editor and videographer at Motorcycle USA in Medford.

The groom is the son of Nicole Connor of Walnut Grove, Calif., and Sonney Chong of Sacramento, Calif. He is a 2003 graduate of Oregon Institute of Technology with a degree in software engineering technology. He works as an application-development manager for Mortorcycle USA.

Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Melody-Ann Geear of Eagle Point. Bridesmaids were cousin Lisa Moser of Medford, friend Kirsten Deetz of Brooklyn, N.Y., friend Cyndy Trentzsch of Woodburn, sister-in-law Kimberly Chong of Sacramento, friend Shannon Larsen of Medford, and friend Chance Larsen of Medford served as bridesman.

Best man was friend Jeff Avgeris of Eugene. Groomsmen were friend Matt Equinoa of Klamath Falls, brother Jeff Chong of Sacramento, friend Abe Grupe of Medford, friend Barry Hart of Vancouver, Wash., friend Scott Furry of Eagle Point, and friend Amy Butler of Medford served as groomsmaid. The groomsmen also served as ushers.

Flower girl was the bride's friend's daughter, Zoë Deetz of Brooklyn. Ring bearer was the bride's godson, Rece Moser of Medford. Candlelighters were the bride's mother, Charlotte Geear of Eagle Point, and the groom's mother, Nicole Connor of Walnut Grove.

A post-ceremony reception hosted by the newlyweds was held at Rogue Valley Country Club. Following a honeymoon cruise on the Mediterranean, the newlyweds are living in Eagle Point.
