  • Dan Seus scored four touchdowns to lead St. Mary's to a 54-16 nonconference football victory against Glendale at Spiegelberg Stadium Saturday.
    St. Mary's (2-0) jumped out to a 20-0 first-quarter lead and built a 40-8 halftime margin.
    Seus, a senior running back, scored on runs 37, 52 and 13 yards to go with a 48-yard punt return for a touchdown. He gained 130 yards on six carries.
    The Crusaders rushed for 410 yards. Anthony Bonsi led their ground attack with nine carries for 147 yards.
    Glendale was limited to 167 yards of offense.

    PROSPECT 3, TRIAD 0 — At Prospect, junior middle Taylor Bernhardt had nine kills, 16 digs and four blocks and Heather Lass added 16 assists and four blocks in Prospect's 25-12, 25-9, 25-18 Mountain Valley League victory.
    Prospect (3-0, 2-0 MVL) had 19 service aces in the win.
    Triad fell to 1-4, 0-2 in league play.
