Craig Leon, 27, captured the second annual Rogue Run Half Marathon title at the Jackson County Expo Center in Central Point on Sunday.
The former Olympic Marathon Trials qualifier, who grew up in Ohio and ran at Ohio University, now lives and trains in Eugene. His time was 1:07.38.
Kevin Hall finished second (1:08.42) and Trevor Palmer was third (1:08.49).
Bend's Renee Metivier Baillie, 30, secured the women's title and placed sixth overall with her time of 1:12.58. Colleen Little was the second fastest female finisher (1:19:33) and Shannon Botten was third (1:24:43).
Leon and Metivier Baillie, who each received $500 for their victories, will both compete in the Chicago Marathon in October. Their times broke the Rogue Run Half Marathon's previous records.
Seven hundred and forty participants finished the race, which travels through several cities in the Rogue Valley along the Bear Creek Greenway.
