Felony arrests

• Drugs — Michael Del Curry, 35, of the 1200 block of Poplar Drive, Medford. Curry appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of hydrocodone. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
• Drugs — Shawna Marie Avey, 38, of the 2300 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Avey appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of heroin. She remained lodged in jail on $20,000 bail.
• Theft, drugs — Michelle Rene Asbury, 27, of Weed, Calif. Medford police Thursday arrested Asbury on charges of first-degree theft and possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail on $10,000 bail.
• Burglary — Jonathan Ernest Reed, 23, no known address. Central Point police Thursday arrested Reed on charges of first-degree burglary, felony fourth-degree assault, strangulation, harassment, interfering with police and a parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail.
• Drugs — William Joseph Shepard, 24, no known address. Medford police Thursday arrested Shepard on charges of possession of methamphetamine and a parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail.
