Erin Marie Trostel and Benjamin Lee DeCarlow were married Aug. 11, 2012, at Eagle Creek Estate in Eagle Point. John and Linda Tucker of First United Methodist Church of Medford officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Woody and Jean Trostel of Aloha. She is a 2006 graduate of Aloha High School and a 2010 graduate of University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. She works as a classroom aide at Chiloquin Elementary School.
The groom is the son of Dave and Linda DeCarlow of Medford. He is a 2005 graduate of North Medford High School, a 2009 UO graduate with a Bachelor of Science in political science and a 2010 graduate of Southern Oregon University with a Master of Arts in teaching social studies. He works as a social-studies teacher at Chiloquin Junior/Senior High School.
Maid of honor was friend Katherine Pfliiger of Portland. Bridesmaids were sister-in-law Claudia Trostel of Fort Wayne, Ind., friend Jackie Bashop of Fort Wayne and friend Maria Hassett of Chicago.
Best man was friend Tim Kirkpatrick of Okinawa, Japan. Groomsmen were friends Eric Leaming of Salem, Brice Walters of Corvallis and Brian Corbett of Central Point.
A reception at Eagle Creek Estate followed the ceremony. Following a honeymoon in Kauai, the newlyweds are living in Klamath Falls.
