Ashland breezes to victory

COTTAGE GROVE — The Ashland boys water polo squad took care of business against Cottage Grove with a 17-7 victory on Sunday.

Hoku Eggertsen tallied five goals, an assist and five steals to pace the Grizzlies (8-3), who received three goals apiece from Cole Harding and Nathan Markovich and two goals and four assists from Lewy Kurach.

Goalkeeper Miles Furuichi registered four blocks and a steal. In the field, Furuichi contributed a pair of goals and three assists.
