Edward L. Teemer, 69, of Duvall, Wash., beloved father, brother, husband, grandfather and friend, passed away at home September 26, 2012.
Ed was born March 21, 1943, in McKeesport, Pa., son of the late Grace and Edward Teemer. He graduated from Hawthorne High School in Hawthorne, Calif., and received a full scholarship to California Polytechnic University as a poultry major until serving in the Army during the Vietnam War. He later worked largely in the mills and then independently buying and selling goods before his retirement. He met his wife, Anna, in 1987, and they married in 1994. They recently celebrated 25 years together at a wonderful vacation home in Leavenworth, Wash., along with Ed's children and younger grandchildren.
Ed was a man with a deep love of, and commitment to, his family; moving to Duvall, Wash., in 2011, to be closer to his son and daughter and their children. He frequently reminisced about his childhood, telling funny stories of the trials and tribulations of his parents as they raised a rowdy boy full of life and curiosity. All those who love Ed wish they'd had more time to share another story, another laugh, and to tell him once again how much they love him.
Ed is survived by his wife, Anna L. Teemer; daughter, and son-in law, Carey and Eric Renn; son, Matt Teemer; Anna's daughters, Debbie McNeil and Christine Faith; and grandchildren, Raina Teemer, Caden and Morgan Renn, and David, Jessica, and Sierra Huddleston.
A memorial service will be held October 20, 2012, at the Community Bible Church in Central Point, Ore., at 2:00 p.m. followed by a fellowship. The family asks that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to your favorite charity.
