  • An art benefit auction supporting a studio for developmentally disabled adults will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at 525 Bigham Knoll Drive, Jacksonville.
The third annual FurnARTure event will feature the sale of pieces from regional artists. The pieces are recycled furniture that have been transformed into artistic pieces.
Hors d'oeuvres, wine and live music also are part of the fun. Proceeds from the event will go to support The Studio, an art studio for developmentally disabled adults in downtown Medford. The money will fund workshops, instruction and other events at the facility.
Tickets are $25 and are available either online at www.livingopps.org/tickets or at Terra Firma, 135 W. California St., Jacksonville, or 309 E. Main St., Medford.
