  • PORTLAND — Stephanie Carr tied the all-time scoring record in Southern Oregon women's soccer, tallying in overtime to give the Raiders a 3-2 Cascade Collegiate Conference victory over Warner Pacific Friday at David Douglas High School.
Two goals — one by each team — were scored in the final minute to force overtime.
Carr's 32nd career goal, and her ninth of the season, came 99 minutes into the contest. The senior from Upland, Calif., played only 23 minutes due to a troublesome hamstring injury.
She knocked the ball in off a corner kick, improving SOU's record to 6-3-2 overall and 2-0-1 in conference play. Warner Pacific is 1-7 and 0-2.
Carr tied the record set by Katie Emerson from 2002-04.
    In the final minute,
The match appeared headed for overtime tied 1-1, but then the fireworks began.
The Raiders' Sydney Paulsen passed to Julie Zamzow, who used a one-on-one advantage to give SOU a 2-1 lead with 24 seconds remaining in regulation.
Warner Pacific beat the buzzer to tie it, however, when Ranie Gramm took a long shot that found its way through the SOU defense a mere six seconds before time expired.
