EUGENE — The Ashland boys water polo team kept its season rolling with two close victories on Sunday at Amazon Pool.
The boys topped Lincoln 13-11 before a 6-4 triumph over South Eugene. For the Ashland girls, Lincoln picked up a 9-5 win and South Eugene won 12-4.
Ashland's Alex Sukles led the way for the boys with four goals and an assist against Lincoln. Hoku Eggersten chipped in three goals and an assist with Lewy Kurach adding a pair of goals to go with three assists. Ashland goalkeeper Miles Furuchi had 10 blocks.
Kurach paced Ashland with two goals against South Eugene. Eggersten, Sukles, Jericho Walker Roberts and Cole Harding all scored as well. Furuchi turned in 16 blocks.
For the girls, Sadie Kasiah had two goals, two assists and four steals against Lincoln. Emma Frantz also had two goals and Ada Lawson scored the other goal.
Kasiah registered a pair of goals against South Eugene. Maddy Longshore and Sabrina Scoggin also notched a goal apiece for Ashland.
