The owner of a bar in Keno was arrested on a rape charge Thursday night, the Klamath County Sheriff's Department reported.
Michael Shawn House, 47, of Keno, is being held in the Klamath County Jail for first-degree rape.
His bail is set at $100,000.
He was arrested after a woman customer of the Whoa Tavern at 15468 Highway 66 in Keno reported that he had raped her as the bar closed early Thursday morning, authorities said.
She made her report at 4:30 a.m. Thursday. She was treated and released at Sky Lakes Medical Center for injuries she received during the alleged attack, the sheriff's department said. House was arrested at 6:40 p.m. Thursday after police served a search warrant at the bar.
The woman told investigators that she was an occasional patron of the bar while visiting family in the area over the past several weeks, but she and House did not know each other personally.
