Explore a copper mine's past

Dig up some history at a Windows in Time lecture at noon in Ashland.

Eric Lindquist, a volunteer for Southern Oregon Historical Society and Crater Rock Museum, will present a lecture titled “Blue Ledge Mine: Origins and Aftermath” at the Ashland library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd.

His talk will pay tribute to the people who opened and ran the Blue Ledge copper mine. Lindquist also will show photos, mineral samples and artifacts.
