Sustainable technology group to appear on KOBI program

The Sustainable Valley Technology Group will be featured on "The Green Economy," airing at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, on KOBI Channel 5.

The program will discuss sustainable business training at Southern Oregon University and news from Biomass One and Mychorrhizal Applications, a bio-science firm in Grants Pass. It will also address developments with the Sustainable Valley Technology Group Business Accelerator and include comments from Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber and U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore.

Previous Sustainable Valley episodes on "The Green Economy" featured Brammo, Sky Research, Erickson Air Crane, Rogue Valley Microdevices and S&B James Construction.

The program reaches about 30 million homes in 24 markets across the United States.

Saturday's show will be rebroadcast at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 14 on KOBI Channel 5.
