John (Johnny B) Bruce Hull

John (Johnny B) Bruce Hull passed away Monday, October 8, 2012, at his home near Shady Cove. John was born December 31, 1949, in Astoria, Ore., to John Brooks Hull and Carmen Lopez Hull. He attended schools in Santa Clara, Calif. and Astoria. John was in the U.S. Army from 19691971. He was proud to have been a Vietnam veteran. He returned to Oregon after serving his country.


John married Judy Draper Hull August 30, 1997, at their home. He loved the outdoors including hunting, fishing, and camping. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races (Earnhardt's), the Cowboys play, and hunting and fishing shows. John liked to hit the honky tonks and dance the night away. He operated heavy equipment and had worked for Pacific Paving and Ron Hailicka of Butte Falls.


Survivors include his wife, Judy Hull; three sons, Jerry (Kayla) Hull, of Grove Okla., Dale Hull, of Lexington Okla., and Christopher (Tressa) Hull, of Fairland, Okla.; stepson, Erik (Lydia) Draper, of Lakewood, Wash.; three grandsons; and five granddaughters; sister, Christina Hull; cousin, Manny Constance, of Yuma Ariz.; and the "boys, Shannon Daniels, Brad Settle, Kelly and Monte Neuschwander, and their families. John was preceded in death by mother, Carmen Lopez; grandmother, Maria Calvo Roano Lopez; and brother, Jerry Labrador.

Funeral arrangements made by Perl Funeral Home. Military service will be held at Eagle Point National Cemetery October 19, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., followed by a celebration of life at the Upper Rogue Moose Lodge in Shady Cove from 2:004:00 p.m.
