  • Rolling Stone magazine called “At Least We Have Each Other” by The Hobart Brothers with Lil’ Sis a “beautifully bummed-out debut.”
The roots-pop album, released in March, features all-star songwriters Freedy Johnston and Jon Dee Graham of True Believers and The Skunks and vocalist Susan Cowsill, the youngest of The Cowsills. The straightforward, but at times playful, album features songs about Johnston’s and Graham’s first jobs working in restaurants and taking out trash.
The acoustic trio, named after a commercial dishwasher brand, will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at The Playwright Public House, 258 A St., Ashland. Cover is $10.
