    Cascade Bancorp and Bank of the Cascades named Charles "Chip" N. Reeves executive vice president and chief banking officer. Reeves will oversee the bank's overall loan, deposit and delivery strategies. Reeves has been with Fifth Third Bancorp, most recently serving as market president for Fifth Third's Chicago operations. He previously was head of the company's Chicago Commercial Banking group and served as Bancorp senior vice president of special assets in Cincinnati.

    Angela Beeks has been promoted to branch manager at U.S. Bank's north Medford office on Court Street. Beeks has been branch manager at the bank's Jacksonville office for seven years. Beeks has volunteered as a United Way loaned executive and a Junior Achievement instructor for the past five years.

    Lithia Motors Assistant Vice President of Marketing Mark Conner has been selected to present at the fourth annual DrivingSales Executive Summit in Las Vegas. Conner was selected from nearly 100 applicants. His presentation, "Attacking the Dealer App Gap" resonated with the dealer board.

He began with United Grocers before moving on to Fresno Beverage, Gold River Distributing (now Columbia Distributing) and Cross Creek Trading Co.     Joanna Carter has joined Dean Brown at his optometry practice, Central Point Eyecare P.C. Carter is a 2005 graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry, where she improved her Spanish-speaking skills through optometry mission trips. She has practiced in Southern Oregon for seven years.
    Carter has post-graduate training in vision therapy, which improves the communication between the eyes and the brain. She is accepting new patients at 541-664-5535.

    Jeff Smith of Creative Paperhanging and Decorating in Medford earned the Commercial Category award from the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers.
    He was one of 12 national winners in a variety of areas. Judges assess entries on creativity, special challenges, materials, time constraints and the quality of presentation. The awards were presented at the 2012 National Guild of Professional Paperhangers' Convention & Vendor Showcase in Columbus, Ohio.
